Scope

This policy explains how MVPeptide ("MVPeptide", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website. It covers the site only, not any third-party site we link to.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, how they arrived, and roughly where in the world they are. Google sets cookies in your browser to do this and processes that data on our behalf. We use it to improve the site, not to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising trackers or remarketing tags.

Beyond that we collect very little, because this site does very little.

If you use the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the topic you chose and your message. These are emailed straight to us and are not stored on this website or in a database.

If you email us instead — including by using the "Email this order" button, which opens your own mail application — we receive whatever you choose to put in that message. That typically means your email address, your name, the items you are asking about and, if you are placing an order, a shipping address.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs for the requests that serve this site. Those logs include information such as IP address, browser user-agent and the page requested. They are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, not assembled by us into profiles of visitors.

Cookies and information stored on your device

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to measure how the site is used. These are the only cookies on this site. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out extension, and the site will work normally without them.

Separately, two things are saved in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies: the contents of your cart, and the fact that you acknowledged the research-use confirmation when you first arrived. Both stay on your device, neither is transmitted to us, and neither is readable by any other website. Clearing your browser's site data removes them, which will empty your cart and show the acknowledgment again.

How we use what you send us

We use the information in your emails to answer your question, quote and confirm an order, arrange shipping, and keep a record of what we supplied to whom — which we are expected to be able to produce for materials of this kind.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Who else sees it

Shipping carriers receive the name and address needed to deliver your parcel. Our email provider, our website host and Google Analytics process data on our behalf in order to run those services. Google may process analytics data outside your country, including in the United States.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

We keep order correspondence for as long as we need it to support the order and to meet our record-keeping and tax obligations, and then delete it. General enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted once they are resolved.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your local law, and we will honor them.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Not for children

This site is not directed at children. Our products may only be ordered by people aged 21 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and email in particular is not a secure channel — please do not send us anything more sensitive than an order needs.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what we do changes — in particular when online checkout goes live, since taking payment will introduce a payment processor and the information it needs. The "last updated" date above will change when it does.
