How peptides are produced
Two routes, and one of them is ours
A peptide can be built in one of two ways. Chemical synthesis assembles the chain one amino acid at a time from defined starting materials. Biological production uses living organisms — usually bacteria or yeast — engineered to express the peptide, which is then recovered and purified from the culture.
The compounds in this catalog are made by chemical synthesis, using the solid-phase method. The growing chain stays anchored to an insoluble resin support while each amino acid is added in turn, so reagents and by-products can be washed away between steps. It is the standard route for peptides of this length, and it is what allows a defined sequence to be reproduced from batch to batch.
Where ours are made
We do not run a synthesis laboratory
MVPeptide does not synthesize the material it sells, and does not describe itself as though it does. Our compounds are produced to order by a contract manufacturer using solid-phase peptide synthesis, and reach us already lyophilized and vialed.
The great majority of solid-phase synthesis capacity sits outside the United States. That is the structure of the industry rather than a shortcut around it, and it is true of far more suppliers than say so plainly. A domestic address on a website usually describes where a company ships from, not where the chain was assembled.
We work with a single manufacturer rather than buying from whoever is cheapest in a given month. Consistency of source is worth more than a marginally better price: material from one production line, made the same way each time, is the only thing that makes one batch comparable to the last.
Plenty of suppliers let the word “ours” do work it has not earned. We would rather tell you which parts of this we actually perform, and let you judge the rest on that.

What we control directly
Everything after it arrives
Once a shipment reaches us it does not leave our hands again until it ships to you. We hold our own stock rather than forwarding orders to anyone else, which means the conditions the material is kept in are ours to answer for: dedicated −20°C freezer storage kept for this material alone, protected from light and moisture.
Every unit is assigned an internal reference when it arrives, so any vial can be traced back to the shipment it came from. Nothing is relabeled, repackaged under a second name, or sold as something it is not, and every vial carries the compound, the strength, and its research-use-only status.
What we cannot claim, we do not. We did not make the material, and no amount of careful handling on our part turns it into something we did. What we can tell you is exactly what happens to it between the manufacturer and your laboratory.
All products sold by MVPeptide are intended for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary consumption. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
